TORONTO - For awhile, public
nudity seemed to have found its place in the centre of Canada's biggest
city. I'm not counting the strippers in this vibrant city core. Nobody
could. No, in the sprawling "gay village" that may be the liveliest of
the downtown neighbourhoods, occasional nude nights had become accepted
at a couple of the gay clubs, more social than sexual. On these clearly

B E A C H, Fla., March 10 - Wooden poles mark the area where a 6-foot wall
will be built, separating the clothed from the unclothed, once John May
opens his motel's doors to nudists in April. May, part owner of the
Caribbean Shores Motel, has visited nude resorts before, but said his personal
feelings about nudism didn't play a role in his decision. "I

has Halloween Party at CFI Headquarters
The
Natural Manner Club of Central California had their annual Halloween party
at the International Naturist Association's headquarters near Yosemite,
California. Richard Clauser, leader of MNC, states "We had a great time
and plan to have another event this next summer at the CFI headquarters".

80% Say Nude Sunbathing

OSHKOSH, Wisconsin - A new
nationwide poll commissioned by the Naturist Education Foundation (NEF)
and conducted by the independent Roper-Starch organization indicates that
Americans overwhelmingly approve of nude sunbathing on beaches set aside
for that purpose. In the scientific sampling conducted by Roper, 80 percent
of those polled said they believed people who enjoy nude sunbathing should
be able to do so without interference from officials as long as they do
so at a beach that is accepted for that purpose. The approval rating for
nude beaches is up from the 72% that was registered in a poll with identical
questions taken by Gallup in 1983. More...
